2010 Spring Discretionary Grant Recipient:
On June 15, 2010 Stepping Stones became a recipient of the 2010 Spring Discretionary Grant from DuPage Community Foundation. There were 74 applicants for this grant and Stepping Stones was one 39 selected to receive this award.
The DuPage Community Foundation has earned accreditation under the Council on Foundations' National Standards for US Coummunity Foundation program. This accreditation certifies that the Foundation has met the nation's highest philanthropic standards for operational quality, accountability and integrity.
The Council on Foundations is a not-for-profit membership association of more than 2000 grantmaking foundations and corporations.The Council provides the opportunity needed by philanthropic organizations to sustain and maintain their ability to advance the common good.
